Quote Reflect respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information in our app.

The iOS and Android versions share the same core features. Features that are specific to one platform are described in their own section.

Information We Collect

All quotes, highlights, and related data you add in the app are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this information and cannot retrieve it.

App Features

Quote Reflect provides core functionality including quote saving and notifications on both iOS and Android.

iOS-Only Features

Siri & Apple Shortcuts

Quote Reflect on iOS supports Siri and the Apple Shortcuts app via Apple's App Intents framework. When you use Siri to save a quote:

• Your voice is processed entirely by Apple's Siri infrastructure - Quote Reflect does not receive or process raw audio

• The app receives only the final text of your quote, identical to text you would type manually

• Quote text saved via Siri is stored locally on your device, the same as any manually entered quote

• No additional data is collected or transmitted as a result of using Siri or Shortcuts

Analytics

Quote Reflect may use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage data to help improve the app experience. TelemetryDeck is privacy-first by design:

Specifically:

- An anonymous identifier is generated using a double-hashed (SHA-256) value that cannot be reversed or linked back to you

- No IP addresses are stored

- No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are used

- No cookies or cross-app tracking is employed

- No personal data such as your name, email, or location is collected

- Data is viewed only in aggregate form — we cannot identify individual users

The usage data we receive includes things like which features are used most often, app version adoption, and general device information (such as device model and OS version). This data helps us prioritize improvements and fix issues.

Purchases

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect non-identifying purchase-related information as necessary to process transactions through the applicable app marketplace (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play). Data Retention & Control

All of your quote data remains on your device. You can delete saved data using the app’s settings where available, or delete the app to remove locally stored data from your device.

If cloud sync is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated to explain how your information is handled.

Children’s Privacy

Quote Reflect is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our app evolves. Updates will be posted within the app or on our website.
